Mount achievements

I know that if you purchase items that you equip such as Shadowmourne, Val'Anyr or any tabards they do not grand you achievements. But was wondering if you purchase mounts will they ? Like i've almost gathered coins for Ashes of Al'ar and I'd like to purchase it, but I really want to get the feats of strength achievement for it. Will i get it ?

Yes you do! Every mount which grands a feats of strenght achievement is earned upon learning it, be it from in-game loot or coin purchase from the store.
