Which guild killed LoD for the first time and when?

I saw a video on YouTube uploaded in 2017 of the guild 'Memories' killing LoD. I asked "Wasn't it KappaXD, Raven and Afterlife that killed him for the 1st time in the Spring/Early-summer of 2019?" To which a commenter told me that "There wasn't Armory back then and therefore guilds like Memories and Archetype do not show in the armory/PvE Ladder."

My question is, is this true, and what was the state of the server back then, as well as the tunning of the bosses (more overtuned, or less overtuned than now, or pretty much the same).

Hey, this will be a very brief history lesson.

Just for clarification, Lordaeron is a realm with buffed encounter values (Bosses have more HP and shorter enrage timers, there is no ICC buff enabled, back then there was also no RDF and of course, no coin shop here). During the course of the realm's life, most encounters were nerfed from their original values, but the core difficulty still remains, counterpart to the retail values.

The realm first kill of Lich King 25HC was made by Horde guild <MEMORIES> in 2017 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh_s1EktcO4&t=4s), when the encounter was nerfed from 130M HP and 13:38min enrage time to 103M HP (enrage stayed the same). As a fun fact, the very same day, their rivals Alliance guild <Archetype> also made the kill as realm second, a few hours after. After their kills, most players from the guilds stopped playing and quit the realm, thus the guilds died.

After that, two other guilds emerged, with largely new players, Alliance <After Life> and Horde <Raven> and started the ICC progression again. <After Life> killed LK 25HC as 3rd guild on the realm in 2018 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swYDlFeDx1Y&t=694s), followed by <Raven> (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9wc5n8vEXI&t=1s) a few months after. These two guilds started farming the encounter and made significant roster changes during their years of playing, but both guilds stopped raiding years ago. <KappaXD> was the 5th overall guilds to kill LOD on this realm.

These were the last guilds that managed to kill LOD with the buffed values. After that, ICC was nerfed a lot, so other guilds managed to secure their kills and progressing ICC got way faster and easier.

Also, after about a year of ICC patch, RS was also opened, with <After Life> killing Halion 25HC as realm first (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFSsD7qCa3A&t=313s), followed by <Raven>.

Memories achieved the 1st killed, I can tell you back in 2017 (around March-April, when ICC was released) some encounters were kinda easyier but no LK (less HP), also Ruby sanctum wasnt realeased yet, and most of the server player never saw an Heroic boss, even gunship was killed in normal at that time. I Remember first time ICC came out, i sold 1 Primordial saronite for 8k gold lol
Raven and Afterlife guild came later
I cant remember everything but i think Memories and the alliance guild (archetype probably?) were on the race for the realm first, and memories got the realm first.

There was also a post by Carbine/Flysharry in this forum, showing HP back then vs recent updates

So you mean that when LoD had 130M HP nobody managed to kill him ? And Memories managed to do it only after the nerf to 103M HP ?

And when you say "These were the last guilds that managed to kill LOD with the buffed values", you mean the values written down in the forum post you linked? Memories, Archetype, Afterlife, Raven and KappaXD did an ICC version that was much harder than today's ICC ?
Does ICC now in 2022 have the same values as Retail in 2010, with the only exception being the lack of ICC damage buff?

noone killed it at 130 and it was killed after being nerfer to 103M. Nowadays they increased the enrage timer and it is supposed to be an exact replica of the original fight and the same on icecrown (0%) and lordaeron. That being said, the other 11 bosses on lordaeron are still buffed, some more, some less

I see. So in a nutshell not only there isn't any Dmg Buff but also all bosses are buffed up compared to their 2010 counterpart (except for LoD, which as you said is an exact replica of 2010), did I understand correctly? :P

Is there a forum post where I can check out the current exact values of bosses on Lordaeron? (hp, dmg and enrage timer)

t4d3y kindly provided a link, but it's for a 2018 forum post, and dunno if that translates to the current values of bosses.

I believe the most recent values were recorded here: https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=442360 , but I'm not sure wether they're still the same or not. It's been a long time since I was as interested to pile up the info.

For the damage that the bosses did, in the past they were hitting quite a lot more - LK did almost 2x as much melee damage on tanks as on Icecrown realm, but those things are kind of harder to check and just going from feeling, the time ICC got nerfed, us healers felt like there was less damage output. But again, thats pure feeling (perhaps tanks also got more gear and other reasons...).
