Best Spec for the Leveling Grind

I'm planning on rolling a mage. I was wondering what you think the best spec for leveling is in your opinion and why?

Frost by probably quite far.

You have slows and freezes/roots (basically meaning that you can cast more spells before melee mobs reach you, and you can also kite them to an extent), you have an efficient personal barrier (Mana Shield usually gets your mana to 0 after one use), and even a pet (Water Elemental), which also has an AoE freeze of its own.
