Wow client icon not flashing on taskbar

My wow client icon isnt flashing on taskbar when i am alt tab no matter what is happening in game be it a que pop, whisper, RC, entering combat, nothing makes it flash like it should. I tried finding a fix but all i could find were people looking to get rid of it and no fix for my problem. I tried the old client, the wod assets client and about 5 different ones from other private servers and none of them work. In the past ive played on other expansions and the flash always worked, its not working only on wotlk. Any suggestions are welcome, thank you.

Wotlk client doesn't do that. It was implemented in some later expansion.
