Personally, I hate PvP Servers. And Icecrown is very annoying.
There are to many donators, who dont have a live and farm players at different central spots.
Thus, you have a hard time playing/leveling
Please do something against that.

There is nothing going to be done about it beign a PvP server. Dont go to Tanaris and STV for starters, its just how the game goes. I guess im one of those bastardos who ganks lowbies aswell, but dont hunt them on purpose, only when im doing something and i run on them. And it isnt as tough if you chose dead zones, ive leveled 2 of my chars without dieing a single time, so thats that.
its a 3 year hardstuck 3.3.5 server. do you excpect people to be green geared?
Avoid STV, Hellfire and Tanaris. Theres people with twinks that farm these zones even. But yah nothing will be done unless server magically switches to PvE
use "Character Level Up" service from warmane

As the others said, avoid certain zones and youll meet almost no griefers.
And pvp on a server is needed for the atmosphere of the server, it makes it feel "real". Thus almost all private servers are pvp.
