How can you reliably have spells hit a Holy Pally in PVP?
Okay I've read around, everything i read says 130 spell pen and 6% hit. I have both at that amount and yet spells specifically on pally teams continuously miss, as often as 1 in 3 spells and pretty much always 1 in 4 spells will miss. This makes pally swaps ( i play a mage) border line impossible because half my dmg or my stun will reliably miss.
What can I do to overcome this? I just tried 200 spell pen out (again with 6.44% hit) in a duel against a pally and had 3 frostbolts miss in a row for example, with 1/4 spells missing throughout the duel.
Is this a bug? I'm aware of the frost resist aura, and of the sacred cleansing 30% proc. I want to know how I can gear to overcome those things. I don't care if i sacrifice spell power or haste or reseil, I want to know what the hard cap is for spell pen and spell hit so I can reliably hit pallies.
Pallies dominate the 2v2 ladder, and the RNG involved in playing them with spells missing is infuriating. Please help!
