Obviously im just a random wont reach top ranks but want to play something which is capable of doing it.
What comps are the top comps in 2v2? Also are ret paladins any viable in 2s?
Maybe with a resto shaman? But does it come any close to hpal/warr or hpal/dk?

There are some other viable comps like Rogue/Mage, Ret/Mage but the ones stated above are the most popular.

Ret usually works with hunter or mage. You use the CC to make someone irrelevant then burst the other
