Are bgs even worth doing?

BGs seem like the least efficient way to get pvp gear, especially considering horde lose almost every one.

I currently need 284k honor for off pieces(I got main parts easily through emblems of triumph, stonekeepers shards and WG quests) but after spamming bgs within the 2 hours between WG wait time I've made around 10-15k honor.

Just for know, In what realm??

On Icecrown Horde.

Only way to have good win ratio in BGs in wotlk is playing premades, if you are low geared better do 10 arenas every week (Don't worry if you lose), and go WG, you can get alot of honor there.
