Depends, are you planning on playing pve or pvp?
For pvp: glorenzelg hc, deaths verdict hc and well I would go for wrathful shoulders because 3's are so rare but if you want a pve item then the halion boots might be the best one to get. Ofc if you're human then get a trinket, for tryhars DV normal or tiny for fun in bgs or well, wfs is one option.
For pve: oathbinder, tiny and probably sts.
PvP:
Wrathful Gladiator's Claymore
Wrathful Gladiator's Shoulders
Death's Choice HC or Apocalypse's Advance - ToC HC/n is easy to do with pugs comparing to RS25hc/n

Back on molten I had all 3:
Wrathful Claymore, Glorenz and Oathbinder. I found Claymore to be the best out of 3. Even Oath performed better than Gloren lol.
So no, it's not junk.
Claymore gives more resi, oath is better than gloren in pve and it / gloren is more dmg in pvp, pretty much depends of your stats but when you're not fully geared, gloren is better for pvp dmg wise. Claymore is only good because of its resi and honestly there's better ways to get that
