Which 2 items should i buy with points

I am a mage just hit 80 level,which 2 items should i buy for points??

2Hand weapon or 1Hand weapon and a Trinket.

Depends heavily, do you want to pve or pvp? Do you have gold (buying a weapon is a total waste of points if you have a hilt for example)?
