Great server, lots of fun. Just killed it with respawn rates.

First, congratulations on the launch, went really well and everyone is happy.

Well, that was up untill 15 minutes ago when the servers were taken down to fix a skinning exploit (Skinning a mob would make it instantly respawn)

Now, respawn rates on ALL mobs are CONSIDERABLY lower than before, some mobs taking up to 179 seconds to respawn, with most being about 120 seconds. On retail this would be fine as people were more spread out, but you can NOT have a 13,000 population server that is TIMES 5 EXP and have 170 second respawn times.


There are currently 42 people waiting a single group of pirates to respawn in Ratchet...


We ask that the respawn rate be raised, maybe not like it was before, even though that was actually pretty good baring the exploit.

This will only be a problem in the first few days, slowly getting better and better. No point messing up with the respawn rates.

And it was the same on retail at the start of a new expansion.

Dynamic spawn system is already in place and we cannot really adjust it anymore but it should get better when players spread out.
