QUestion: Building textures from Northrend to Azeroth?

Here's a thought. Many people find the building textures from Cataclysm really cool (New Orgrimmar, with the darker colors?), and I was wondering if there was any way to make modify the game client locally, to use those textures (similarly to how we modify the client to use WoD/Legion 3d models).

My thinking is that this should not be difficult in principle, since those textures are *already* in the Wrath of the Lich King client somewhere, since the Horde buildings in Northrend are clearly using them.

Is there any moder out there willing to consider this?
