Multiboxing and why is it permitted?

So it has become very apparent that multiboxing is a thing on the servers, mainly for PvP. The main question here is why? Why should this be permitted? Why do the people in charge not actively take opposition to such? Blizzard certainly wouldn't permit any use of such in their game, since it is a program being used to permit an unfair advantage for a player. Sure one needs to gear the characters up and then manage the program, but it is just that, a program. Leveling on a lot of these servers is easy and fast. Getting gear really doesn't take that much time if you know what you're doing and more or less one can just buy gear with coins as well. When it comes down to playing the game, it should be a fun, skill and time based thing. Not something that is defined by someone using a program to just run around as 5-6 characters and cause unfair scenarios.

Feel free to comment and continue this discussion. Maybe a multiboxer can explain their reasoning? A staff member could explain as to why such a thing is allowed? Any form of constructive information on this topic would be great, because right now it just makes playing in certain areas of the game just completely miserable.

I think you're a bit confused. Mutiboxing IS allowed on live servers and has never been against the Blizzards TOS.

Live: A player with more than 1 account is paying roughly $15/month per account. This translates into revenue for Blizzard.
Warmane: Multiboxers usually donate for queue skip and/or full gear for their army of characters. This translates into revenue for Warmane.

TLDR: If its allowed on live with albeit the same restrictions, it's allowed here.

A quick google search or Battle.net forum search would have provided you with this and continued informative data on the subject.
