Why is allowed to sell characters?

I dont understand why is allowed to do that, really just seeing the global chat is disgusting hundreds of people typing WTS etc

because its a way for warmane to kill the blackmarket sales that were already happening and put a tax on it to take coins out of circulation, thus increasing donations.

Really advertising characters in global shouldn't be allowed. Trade at best.
