how shadow priests can naok?

im new shadow priest and i need help, how can shadow priests naok vile spirtits in phase 3 LK fight?

Dispersion

The Paladins found a way to lend Divine Shield.

For Vile Spirits you use Dispersion to soak all the damage. the rest of the raid has to stack on each other so all the vile spirits go in the same direction. Also you want a Glyph of dispersion so that you reduce the cooldown of your dispersion so that you can soak twice as often. Here is a shadow priest POV of a bane kill on warmane - icecrown.

Valks : Put 2 dots on each of the 3 valks (VT and SWP) and refresh the SWP with Mindflay and recast VT.

So sequence is :

VT --> SWP on Valk 1
VT --> SWP on Valk 2
VT --> SWP on Valk 3

VT --> Mindflay on Valk 1
VT --> Mindflay on Valk 2
VT --> Mindflay on Valk 3

you can do this with LK in the rotation too with Devouring plague applied. really depends how much damage you need on the valks (composition of rest of raid dps gear etc.)

Wow, that almost 3 year old thread necro tho. Holy cow. Fingers must be sore from scrolling back that far.

The off-tank in phase 3 is responsible for the majority of the soaks for viles, and any raid member can soak 1 vile spirit easily for LoD. If a pack of 2-3 viles get too close to DPS, that's usually the only time Shadow Priests or DK's need to help soak with dispersion/ AMS respectively.
The raid needs to be wary of properly placing defiles, and it's not worth using glyph of dispersion unless you're in a really badly co ordinated raid, or for some reason your offtank likes to afk all of phase 2+3 after he's done tanking shamblings in ph1.
