Hi guys. I'm a shadow priest knowing nothing about close to end-game gear. Sitting at 5.4k GS with some PvP off-set.
Today I did for the first time ever an ICC run so you could imagine how lost I am with the content.
I have 81 EoF and I don't know what to buy first. What would you recommend?

Go for chest/helm and replace shoulders with stiffened boe so you still keep t9 2p bonus + better stats. Try to get gloves from voa or buy them only after you have all the other pieces (head, shoulders, chest). You can get band of invoker for 35 eot, it's a good starter ring (better than wf for sure) and if you have vote points get flare of the heavens from store and replace the POS trinket with it.Quote:

Most important thing to remember is DO NOT buy anything other than t10 parts with emblems of frost until you have a 4 piece set, as for shadow priests this has higher priority than trinkets or weapons (which you will get in raids anyway). For starters get the t10 head, as Saewelo said replace the shoulders with Stiffened Corpse Shoulderpads (ilvl 264 BoE from auction house) and do voa 10 /25 for t10 hands and / or legs. Later on, when you save some emblems of frost again, get the t10 chest and shoulders. Which one you'll get first depends on your gear at that moment but after that, I would recommend saving until you can either get both remaining at the same time or if you get lucky in VoA and you need to get the 4th one for the set bonus.Quote:

I'm planning on saving a little more EoF and buy T10 Head while at the same time buying shoulders, ring and bracers which are easier to get.
About this, a question comes to my mind. I have an iLvl 200 off-hand. Do you still recommend going for trinket with vote points or it would be better to buy for example https://wotlk-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?item=47742 ??Quote:

I'd still go for trinket. It's probably the best thing a caster dps can get from vote store, you're most likely gonna use it until you get your hands on some pre-bis/bis trinket. Off-hands are easy to come by pre-icc, and in icc as well. Also chest might be better to get as 1st buy, it gives slightly more sp and haste and your (now equipped) helm gives you a good chunk of hit rating that you most likely need with the gear you have right now.Quote:

That's true, if you can get the hit cap w/o helm, buy helm, if not, go for chest since being hit capped is way more important than that bonus.
