Low dps as Shadow Priest

Hello there, I've been gearing a Shadow Priest and he's at around 5k Gs now, it's quite low but the damage is almost null.

I've never had any problems doing decent damage with other classes, does Shadow Priest require better gear than others?

Yes. It does require gear than other classes. For now, you should be aiming for 4/T10 bonus set. Once you get it, the stats you should follow are Hit>Spellpower>Haste>Critical. Looking for clothes that give you spell+haste+critical can increase your DPS. Do not roll for spirit ones.
