Unable to turn off Transmogrification

A couple weeks ago,the staff announced the new, infamous and custom feature,Transmogrification.

However,it was CLEARLY stated that this feature is optional and everyone can turn it off through the website,same as the custom client with custom models that turned out to be a nemesis for every GPU.

A very common question is posted everyday on the "Transmogrification" thread,but no one is interested in answering it,because no one cares about keeping your word.
"How can we turn off this feature?" leads to "Will we ever be able to get rid of it on our PERSONAL client ? " and even " Do the staff lie to the players?"(It's just a question,google Present Simple if your posses poor knowledge).

Which leads to questions like "are you too lazy to read posts from less than a day ago quoting a post from two days ago and even posts quoting the last one from less than three hours ago"?
