It doesn't really matter since minimal client will download itself to full client while you play. Only difference is do you prefer to wait and download full client or get minimal be able to play and let client download itself to full client in background while you play. I used in the past both way and never had any issue with neither of them so I'm not sure what you mean by bugs.
the bugs are server sided. the only difference in the clients is minimal lets you play while you download the game data, while full downloads the entire game but you can't play it till the downloads done.
I recommend the full client since the minimal client will never fully download and you will almost always see a loading spinner
