Change 5.4.2 exe to 5.4.8 here and good to go!

Try removing \Data or just changing its name so that it redownloads game files.

Is it this slow for everyone when you run that new Wow-patched?
I get like black screen for 20-30 seconds before I can type in the login info. And when I enter world it loads like it's loading Fallout 4 when it came out and not MoP.

i cant remove read only from wow folder and everytime i do it gets back what sohuld i do ?

guys plz help me i copied the file u said to download that include wow_patched.exe and wow_64.exe but every time i try to open wow i get Data//wow-update-base-18273.MPQ: Cannot stream required archive data. this error i tryed to remove real-only option but it wont change and idk what to do plz help me .

follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC (This is important even if it doesn't seem)
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

dude i did what u told me to do. it didnt work and i didnt download it i got the file from my frinde game center. what else should i do?
