Winds of Northrend - A speed run tournament on Warmane

Greetings Warmane community,

We're delighted to announce that we will be hosting a PvE tournament boasting the very best guilds on our PvE ladder on January 28, 2017 and January 29, 2017 at 18:00 GMT on Icecrown and Lordaeron.

You can find the current standing of guilds on your respective realm here. The tournament will be streamed on our official YouTube channel which can be found here.

The invites for the guilds will go out on January 20, 2017 via e-mail to guild masters of top four guilds on the ladder at the time of the invite. The guild masters will then have exactly 24 hours to provide a response with names of 30 characters that will be granted access to the tournament and subsequently contact details.

• Lordaeron - Ulduar - January 28th
• Icecrown - Icecrown Citadel Heroic - January 29th

• Four guilds speed running the raid content at the same time.
• All four guilds will proceed to do bosses in the same manner.
• Guild members will be able to create unique characters on the tournament realm within the limitations of the tier content that they will be facing, with professions and all gear that might be necessary.
• The players will have suitable time to prepare their interface and characters prior to the tournament.
• 25 players will participate in the tournament, 5 players can remain as an additional reserve. Players can switch spots with the reserve players whenever.
• Any unreasonable delay of the tournament will result in immediate disqualification of the guild.
• As per our realm conduct, any use of third-party software, hacking, exploiting and generally breaking Warmane's terms of service will result in immediate disqualification of the guild and possible additional account measures.

I think its time for me to step in and clear up a few things.

The goal of this tournament is to introduce the new ladder that allows guilds to have more goals than just their weekly raid clear.
An new ladder that resets every X months and at the end we celebrate the best performing guilds with a tournament.

The exploits mentioned in this topic is being investigated and fixed.

Gear provided: Naxx, OS, EoE 25 man gear.
Raid difficulties: Ulduar 25 Normal + buffed content

Icecrown info
Gear provided: ICC + RS 25 hc gear.
Raid Difficulties: ICC 25 Heroic

The point of this race is not to progress and wipe fest. Its about what guild have the best tactic and can handle their classes the best.

There's been some comments saying "why is it only 4 guilds???"
The main reason behind this is because we will see 4 raids simultaneously on the stream.
