I thought that the person i made GM was a buddy of mine but turns out that it was the wrong person i only made them the GM because i couldnt get into my alt account to invite a different character to make GM. Is there any way to fix this?

No there is no help from GM side for this issue. You have to talk with your buddy, open a new guild or wait if he will be inactive for some monthes.
