GCD reduction for higher burst in pvp (Ret)

Hey,

I'm just wondering if there was any trinket per say that could be efficient to increase burst, by decreasing GCD between skills.
I'm thinking of a haste trinket that I would put in the same macro with my wings and another dps trinket to increase the speed at which I can do my rotation.
Does this work like that? :D As far as I know haste does not reduce GCD for meele classes, but it does for casters.
Also I'm not sure if it would be worth it, just because by replacing another trinket with one that gives haste a large chunk of damage is lost. Is this nonsense or could there be some sense to this?

Haste reduces GCD for spells only, not melee abilities.
