Sanctified Retribution with Arcane Empowerment

Reading through Arcane Mage guide available on this forum, it suggests that getting an Arcane Mage due to Arcane Empowerment buff would make "25man mode into 25 and a half man mode". However, almost every single 25man raid will have a retribution paladin. Since Sanctified Retribution seems to be a very good talent (for just 1 talent point), then... Doesn't it make Arcane Empowerment useless? Or do they stack? And should they stack?

Arcane Empowerment - Increases the damage of all party and raid members within 100 yds by 3%.
Sanctified Retribution - Increases the damage caused by Retribution Aura by 50% and all damage caused by friendly targets affected by any of your Auras is increased by 3% (which, again, means every single member of the raid).

It don't stack, so cumulate a ret paly and an arcane mage is not useful on that field.
