-Just- finished downloading the client, logged in. All good.
Buuuut I noticed that everyone was naked. Thought it was a party or something. Turns out everyone is just naked, even if they have gear. It doesn't show up. Is this a bug caused by the Draenor models? Can I turn those off? Would that fix it?
Could be your cache not being populated yet or just a bit of lag. If it's cache related then just wait, they should start working very soon.
This is a bug that existed even in retail. To fix the caching error, make a new client or sometimes even just relogging works.
Clearing cache didn't fix it. Fixed it by running WoW.exe as administrator.
