tbh you either completely ban or completely allow smorons, there's no1 preventing you from doing fifteen splits a week to get a whatever amount of shadowmournes within whatever timeframe it'd take to...

the same would be true with any drop in that case
also, if you were to do full splits (something that wasn't widely done yet) you could basically get a whatever number of smournes within a few raid...

the point is even with a smourne for the most part warriors/dks/rets cannot compete with the arcane burstdps (t10 was balanced for that), so not having it will just mean that people won't run any...

it kinda doesnt matter (except for lod maybe), bring 17 arcane mages kthx
