It depends what are your current professions. U didnt write enough information for us to determinate it but overall, Engineering is rly good to have for progression.

Depends what kind of guild are u looking for. If u want some "real" progression guild u should play on a horde side and get some gear first. If casual, u can play on whatever faction u want.

T7 content was buffed cause on retail its difficulty was hilariously bad. Ulduar was also quite undertuned outside of some HM. Now with 3.3.5 talents it would be even bigger joke.

There is no specific class requirement for dungeons.

As for the raids, in need are rogues, priests dps/heal, shamans ele/enh, druids bala/feral, mages and warlocks. They are imo the most needed...

Before today's update the mobs respawns were pretty nice but after it increased extremely high to like ~10 mins for greater quest mob/boss.

I aggre with Fernlox and Toshika. I play blood elf warlock because both are my favorite race and class and still i can be top dps without orc racial. Personally i wouldn't even feel comfortable...
