no it doesn't because rn the economy's stable, and it'd only make sense to cut existing gold if one were to half (or more) the gold rates along with it
that was the main impetus for the last squish,...
again, you're missing the point
last year's gold squish was a success because it coincided with a gold rate change
unless you nerf gold rates again (hello x1) there's no logical reason to squish...
that wont work its like irl the small guys get hit with taxes while the bix corps just evade
can just create 35234234 toons and put 2,999g on each of them
everything changes because trainer, riding and repairs arent suddently 50% cheaper asw tho
inotherwords the only realm that didn't see a rate change coincide with the squish was Lordaeron, which was a juvenile realm at that point
juvenile realms tend to have more volatile economies
all...
the last time it had great results was because it coincided with a rate change
dont assume things you do not understand
actually the (active) gold supply on IC is stable
if it weren't you'd either see an increase or decrease in items' prices
i dont really see the point squishing IC again (last time there was a gold rate change along with it) as the IC economy's basically stable ever since with ***** goldsellers charging more for gold...
