This post is accurate, Lordaeron has "challenging content" so you are probably doing raids in Hard Mode, by default.

This issue you so clearly pointed out, lead me to stop playing the game I even tried to suggest Raid Finder instead of a new realm and my posts and questions were ignored all the same.

Some players have alts logged in that location and have the respawning time for the recipe timed. They simply log in and buy the recipe to sell it on AH.
Same goes for other key recipes.
