I've leveled 100% through RDF since level 15 as a healer im in the high 40s now the hate needs to be redirected toward DPS. They attack random *** targets even if the tank marks them half of the time...

I've heard it will be "Icecrown like" and release gear when an instance is "on farm by guilds". Def more than cosmetics.
Right click the shortcut to wow.exe and put it into compatibility mode for Windows 7 then click apply and ok.. Worked for me at least.
Has nothing to do with it, the behavior you are describing is being caused by Windows not the client or the archiving of the client.
