You're most likely to die to lag or a server crash (which are not uncommon) so I wouldn't be too excited for that

5x is too low imo. Leveling in vanilla is god awful boringly slow unless you're AoE farming as a mage
Clearly you haven't played vanilla lmao. Warrior is best at tank by a mile while also being the top dps in every phase of vanilla. They get most of the extra raid slots that aren't used for buffs

Impossible to do it with a pug they can never clear professor putricide. The raid leader is usually there to reserve primordials and bind on equip gear for profit they don't care about the raids...
Druid would probably be your best bet. Super easy to level as feral and you can do off spec heal or tank in dungeons for quick dungeon ques. Balance dps is usually in demand.
