the only thing i managed to test while the server was up was sunwell plateau, and its open, only managed to get to kalecgos

nope, when you get to "On a wing and a prayer" (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29193/on-a-wing-and-a-prayer) the timeless eye wont spawn, atleast it didnt last time i tried it

i'd say the server has a pretty worldwide population and i play at very random hours, i always see pugs going on and battlegrounds being won by either side at either time so i'd say you're good to go

If you're okay with an ilvl drop i recomend you get (heroic) maghias misguided quill which is an ilvl 289 (or something) which provides you with 1000 spirit, its a great trink for any starter healer...
