-Custom drops(has been done before,Shadowmourne at LK 25 HC ) - NO
-Custom Portals - I will vote for NO, just use traditional traveling
-Custom NPC - maybe but only if they are part of some event...
I would set BG's matchmaking levels to 5 lvl difference as on Cataclysm(10-14,15-19 ...etc). Sometimes is really hard to fight agains players 9-8 lvl higher because you miss everything.
I hope there will be no transfer after the start...
