Well if you wanna go the generic route, I know FRAPS works. I spent years using a wooden PC, so I had to use minimal graphic settings as well. And FRAPS worked like a charm, never had issues with it....

+1 for AV and Strand and Isle. Disable EotS while you're at it! Trashiest bg ever :)
