Played some arenas with my brother both wearing crafted pvp gear owning ruthless/cataclysmic geared players.

There was also some night elf rogue who had them. All of those people played pve if I recall correctly.

With coins the recustomization option is ideal for that I think, race change option should also allow you to change your gender.

The dk starting area isn't bugged. Try another sword or clear cache.
