If I remember correctly you can mine the same ore node as many times as you want if you don't loot it, and get skill ups every time.

I think you shouldn't need 2 tanks for 10 man. I killed him with my guild today using 3 melees pretty easily, with over minute left on enrage timer (and we are not Ulduar 25 man geared).

Most likely WOD models cause the game to crash. It's a known issue.
