I assume you are already playing in windowed mode. Just pay attention to the sound and notice the WoW icon blinking orange.

Press Esc to acces game menu > Sound > click the option for "Sound in Background"

Done.

No addons required.

Dude. If Warmane felt that level 15 was "a bit low" they would not be doing it. Ask yourself these questions:

Are you a Warmane staff member?
Do you have the ability to see their database?
...

That is not what the staff of Warmane said. at. all. If they make an exception for you, they would have to do it for everyone else too. You're not a special snowflake.
