It cannot be done cause the games engine limits transmog capabilities depending on the swing animations usually. Swords axes and maces have the same animations, while staves only share animations...
Very much doable with proper cc and defensives, especially if the tank is a paladin. Holy wrath ftw!
To make it simple spellblade was added to the game at 3.1 which is the ulduar patch. That i do know for a fact. We are now in the content bracket prior to it.
It might have bugged out cause of premature pulling but i doubt it... Maybe the ch lockout reset right after you killed it and your friend was the one that looted it just before it?
They do spawn, its just that theres so many players leveling atm that they prolly get insta killed or tamed. GL on your quest to catch them all!
