Ghoul explosion changes

Hello my fellow DiKas, with the latest changes cause of some nard in the bug tracker section, corpse explosion is now interrupt able with kick pummel mind freeze and so on, which is quite the nerf to unholy in pvp.

So my question is, were you able to interrupt CE back in the day on og wotlk with normal kicks? I know you can in classic but as far as I'm aware Warmane doesn't follow classic rules (according to Obnoxious in multiple threads)
Pretty annoying to find out that warriors and eles just got even stronger in arena VS dks

You can use warcraftmovies to find some proof that it wasn't possible, I guess

Yes, we don't host Classic servers, but there have been certain punctual aspects of it that have been used in Onyxia.
This doesn't seem to be a case of that, though, since one of the links provided in the bug report was a discussion from 2015 talking about how the source of that is the character ordering the ghoul, so it can be interrupted normally.
