IMO the reason cata went down is the 4.3.4 patch plus the lack of updates.
4.3.4 is just not good of a patch to keep players in the game. Ds is a really boring raid, not challenging and without fun encounters if you ask me. And also the items are too strong, resulting in a backlash on pvp as well, since everyone has acces to it via marketplace.

The realm was in a better stand with 4.0.6 patch, or even 4.3.4 but only firelands/season10 enabled.
When 4.0.6 was there, we had challenging dungeons, 3 different raids to chose from, more balanced pvp, and something you could work on.

Now i log on, play a few arenas get annoyed by hemo-spam rogues and go afk.
But im standing alone with that opinion i guess.

and changelog? even if it says "<instance name> has been properly scripted and opened" times 40 I'd like to see that... plus, assuming Molten Core and BWL are among opened instances... does that include Legendary questlines?

and it's down again... a stability test or something to see if server crashes from some update?
