Make it 1 euro per month, and I am completely sure that nobody would mind 1 euro per month... but for the staff that's an extra 10k+ euros

It does not matter how much you make the "fee" to play.

If Warmane added a fee to play the game Blizzard would shut them down over night. Also, it doesn't matter if it's even just 1 euro to play. People don't come to and try private servers they have to pay for. You would never get new members to the community and the longevity of the project would be non-existent. This entire topic is just silly. It can't legally happen, come up with other ideas.

Stick to the idea we have had in other threads where you had to donate monthly to get premium access to the server. Or in other words skip the queue. That would make them plenty of money and it isn't illegal because it can still be classified as a donation since it is not a requirement to log into the server. That along with name changes, faction changes, race changes, store mounts, and what they are already doing with gear will be more than enough money to sustain the server while still maintaining the Hardcore/Blizzlike feel to the server that they are trying to sustain.
