Any Christmas Event this year?

I noticed last year an update about holiday Warmane events was posted December 22nd, it's the 23rd and still no event update.

Don't know yet, maybe there will be no event at all this year, who knows, even gold squish. It's been pretty quiet about it so far.

Seems like nothing at all, last year the server staff was pissed off, bcoz ppl hate the events, alot of criticism about rewards tho. So they solved it by no making event at all.

I hope it's just some misinformation. A lot of players loved the event last year including me.

there really was a lot of salt last year. hated the events myself. made the tundra unplayable for anyone not doing the event. but it was nice getting a couple scrolls of deception, and an exclusive pet.

despite the ****storm from last year, i'd be disappointed if they didnt do something. just... not on the scale as last year.

It's not true at all that the events were hated last year. The pvp event was pretty universally loved, the only *****ing I remember was that people wanted better rewards than just some scrolls and the flag. I on the other hand loved the scroll rewards, because I always have **** rng and get them on chars I don't need them on. And I know for a lot of casuals, the scroll rewards were fantastic too, because you mostly get them from ICC and very randomly from pvp. Anyways, I'm sure warmane has better metrics on determining what most players love in addition to a few people *****ing on the forums. People complain about everything, event, no event, there's always something wrong. But the amount of players that participate and actually do the stuff speaks for itself.

I've returned so many years here to do the christmas events I don't even remember. Last years was the best in memory because of the pvp thing, I'm personally really disappointed if we don't get something like that again. Warmane event are a staple plart of my christmas. Warmane's custom stuff has always been 1 step above all kinds other mmo games and other private servers that do much worse stuff, the same thing again and again, or don't do anything at all. This place is innovative and the events envigorate the playerbase. It's no wonder Warmane is still going strong when all other private servers die and get reborn elsewhere. Case in point, last year I even did a pvp lan with my friends at my place in the 1v1 event, playing together all christmas day. Playing a game that was out back when I was in high school. And last year, it was way better than it ever was back then! Ty Warmane!

Last xmass time i talked to one of the staff members, chating ingame and they told me this, but thats not a 100% information ofcourse, its one year old info. LoL, but just a good indicator, i would believe Staff is pissed off, by that ppl.

Well, there's no christmas event yet, so to me it seems very likely that this is the case.

ppl was pissed about rewords? not about the fact all events was for 6k gs ppl? OP raid only 6k ppl can do and still wiped by the way, and death match with bis pvp players was not exactly fun. event needs to be simple and fun... like eof event, raids of 80 ppl competing and searching for bosses and fight with another 80 raid ppl.. simple, and for everyone. cant forget the tension... a damn war of 80vs80... so fun
