1. Addons!

hey guys im new to the server ... any idea where the best place to find Addons are?

  2. just type "addonname 3.3.5" on google. In most case you will end up on websites like:
    https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons
    https://www.wowinterface.com

there is a forum section for addons:
    wotlk: http://forum.warmane.com/forumdisplay.php?f=290
    MoP: http://forum.warmane.com/forumdisplay.php?f=294

at character selection screen, click on "addons" bottom. It's on left bottom corner.
Does it show your addons there? if yes, enable "load out of date" option

  5. And make sure you got the right version of the adds, so you don't download addons for earlier expansions. it needs to be for the 3.3.5 Version of earlier.

  6. On character selection screen, at the bottom left you can see "AddOns" click that, enable desired AddOns, and tick that Load Out of Date -box.

There are no AddOns on that list? Go to your WoW/Interface/AddOns/ -folder, and check if the AddOns are packed within an extra folder. This is usually the issue when AddOns aren't showing up, despite being for the correct WoW version, and installed within the right folder.

E.g. the addon might be installed like this:
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM-TBC

When the addon should be installed like this:
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-TBC
