Afaik, that list is for BM (and is different for Surv and MM). Once you get above 600 Agi, it's favorable to go MM or Surv, where Serpent Spine (MM) and Arcanite Steam Pistol (Surv) is better. And yeah, 2 DPS for 40k, not sure I'd say it's worth it. Not like it would be noticeable at all anyways.

To add to the previous comment. The list that person added is not 100% right. Especially in the gear section, you see a lot of mistakes, such as saying items are better when they are exclusively better for 1 spec. (example: KT sword vs 2x alar axe for surv). Id sell it fast before everyone switches specs ...
