Hi. If I change the language of the game from my to enUS, Warmane server settings oblige me to change the character’s nickname to another: «Your name has been flagged for rename». If I delete this character and create new character on the enUS client with the same nickname, I cannot do this, it is reported that this nickname is unavailable: «This name is unavailable».
However, when using the initial language of the game, it is possible to create a character with the same nickname. Even if you do not go into the world and replace the game language with enUS, the server requires you to rename the character.
If I connect two-factor authorization this problem will not be? Can I log in to my character on an enUS client without having to change my nickname?
Or may be it's bug?
For testing, after deleting the character, I was waiting for the realm reboot. After rebooting the realm, the problem remains
The game master, in the game, said that there is a 30-day period during which you cannot create a character with the nickname that he was before deleting. He also said that two-factor authorization does not affect nickname registration.
However, as we can see, in fact, the 30-day period does not exist, since the possibility of registering aliases is available in the first language of the game client.
Apparently, there is a bug with the fact that there is no way to register the nickname of the deleted character.
How to solve this problem? Is this information enough for you?
I deleted the character right now, after which I created a new character with the same nickname.
But this is not possible in the enUS client. How do I tell the technical support to remove the restriction on the enUS client?
If the name is in the list of unacceptable ones that get automatically flagged for a rename it won't be removed, no matter if in a different language's client it's accepted.
What is the list of unacceptable? Brands on this list?
How does this relate to the thread? You can delete a character. The problem is the inability to recreate a character with the same nickname on the enUS client.
I haven't checked but it probably is, to include words in that language.
Then I need more nicknames from this list to make sure if the language of the game client affects the available nicknames or if the server administration imposes restrictions

You can open them in some text editor and at the bottom you will see lists of names. It's not entirely readable but you should be able to find what you want.

So... Yes you are right. Some my nicknames are on this list ...
If I change this file NamesReserved.dbc, removing my nicknames from there, I will not be banned?

So I decided to take a chance and removed my nicknames from this file. Unfortunately this did not solve the problem and the server (only on the enUS client) refuses to register nicknames ...
Anyway, thanks for helping me find the cause of the problem. For now, unfortunately, I will use the non-enUS game client. I hope that the administration of server will remove these restrictions for the enUS client
