Alright believe what you want. About the splatter brushes it was obvious sarcasm. Doesn't take much to spam those brushes. Why are you saving it as a gif? Try PNG next time. And how exactly does adding splatter increase the depth to the piece? I'm not suggesting you change the border. I'm suggesting you take it out all together. The minor contrast does not make up for the eye sore it creates.
Not add splatter, sharpen the splatter.
But wait.. It's the C4D I sharpened..
I used a clipping mask with the splatter.
I allready mentioned the low quality was because I saved it as a GIF, doesn't that allready explain I'm aware of my mistake and I will save it as PNG next time?
You can forget about the border, I'll keep puttin' them on my signatures.

I like borders in signatures. Its just that the border SHE used doesn't fit that signature at all.
-> Create a new layer and select the canvas;
-> Edit, Stroke. Use whatever size you want, I think 1px works well;
-> Create a new layer above the previous one and select the canvas;
-> Edit, Stroke. If you used 1px you probably want to make a 3px Black stroke and then without deselecting anything Edit, Stroke again and this time add a 2px White stroke.
-> Set the second layer you created to Overlay.
Looks good. I use this technique very often.
Hm, usually I just use the Marquee tool to make the border, but I'll see how this turns out.
Thx.
