Whats all that noise about Diffraction?
History
Diffraction is a guild which started as a sanctuary to a few known and promising players. A sanctuary where they shared an awesome guild bank and even more awesome stories. As time was passing by and there was no suitable guild for us (due to time zone, rules, etc.) and there wasn't a good pug of ICC happening, we decided to expand our guild. Our pug raids could reach LK 10 without wipes and Sindragosa 25 with only 1 wipe (which was a thing that rare guilds could do at that time) which consequently made a lot of people being interested in joining us. And that was more then 1 year ago.
And we've made it here. We opened our guild to recruitment and we are interested in veteran players who want to have their own peace in a friendly and helpful atmosphere within the guild and with awesome raids and raiding time (for the ones in European timezone).
Wait, give me most basic informations!
* Casual 25 player raiding guild - which means that if we cannot solve encounter in 3 wipes, we are over. Everyone have their real life and real life is priority. WoW should be a game, and unlike other guilds, we recognize it. Everyone is free to go in midlle of raids, there is always replacements available.
* EU Time zone guild - our 25 man raids starts at 7:45 or 8 PM server time while other raids are randomly made throughout day.
* DKP based guild - if you wish to obtain gear - you must raid. Raiding gives your Dragon Kill Points which you can use to buy powerfull gear and make your guildies jelly.
* Guild which farms whole WoTLK content - when we say farm we trully mean it. We mean it to the full potential of that word. Every possible encounter is downed.
* VoIP Software is used for voice communication - we have our own dedicated TeamSpeak server which supports 35 clients and can be moved to any location in the world, if we want it.
* Guild Rules
Current state of the guild
Right now, guild is in progress of farming LK10[HC] and LK25[HC]. Making both 'Bane of the Fallen King' and 'Light of Dawn' mainstream. There is 1 Normal and 2 Heroic ICC25's in a week, along with countless of successful ICC10HC 'Bane' runs. There are also 1 Ruby Sanctum 25 Normal run and one Ruby Sanctum 25 Heroic run as well as one ToGC 25.
Also, besides ICC's we raid ToC (heroics), Ruby Sanctum, Naxxramas, Ulduar, Onyxia and pretty much everything just for fun (and DKP's). We have excellent progress in non-ICC raids, Ruby Sanctum 25 Normal/Heroic and Ruby Sanctum 10 Heroics are obtained by us as first on the Horde side, as well as ToGC 25.
What separate us from other guilds and what did we accomplished?
* Our members are discplined and will act in PuGs as they act in guild raids. We do care about behavior of our members outside the guild and ruining other people raids or mood is not what we are doing.
* We proud ourselves of not abusing anything in order to complete our raids, a thing that cannot be said for most of guilds out there, especially one racing and no-lifing for Realm First achievements.
* Diffraction is most succesfull guild accross all WoTLK realms (Lordaeron, Deathwing and Ragnaros) by the number of successfully finished raids.
* We do not no-life raids nor try to solce encounter day after day. We enter and clean it. Surgicaly, clean and fast. If raid cannot be completed within 3 wipes, raid is over for that week.

- First ones who did not forced wipe on VDW to abuse the multiplication of orbs
- First ones who solo tanked LK 10 HC
- First ones who 5 healed LK 25 HC
- First and only ones who used 0 (Z E R O) healers from 38% till a kill on LK 25 HC
- First ones who killed LK 25 HC after fixes - Legitly; and published video about it same day as we killed him; not kept it secret like snake hides her legs due to abuse.
- Only ones who have LK 25 HC on farm in 2 raids a week (sometimes even on THIRD, gearing run), even on times when other guilds couldn't down him once.

Why are we writing this? Molten's and Deathwing's community is rotten. It's a fact. Lot of people goes into hate-a-rade mode on us, lot of people constantly report us to the scales that even GM's stalked us in ICC's - yet they found nothing. And we are writing this to keep those who claims "realm first something" to think again and see that we did accomplish all these things months before anyone else reached end-game content.

We have a lot of fun outside of raiding too. Our PvP players are actively involved in BG's and arenas and are often pwning some 'pro' PvP-er's assess :>

Retribution paladins are as it seems most played class in game and as every guild, we too have plethora of them. However, everyone are welcome to apply but since we are guild with 430+ characters we are only recruiting people with high heroic achievement's such as Frostwing Halls 25 Heroic and great knowledge about class you are playing, from gearing, gemming till talents, utilities and rotations.

Let's just say our former resto shaman loved to misplace tombs even after putting flares and healing with 8+ stacks of Instability in middle of raid. Yay! As for other ele's, they either became inactive or quitted WoW.
