Or you could just you know... Pay for the service.

    Free things are limited.

  3. This is why we can't have nice things

  4. To think that some extremely advanced alien life forms out there created a utopic civilization where everyone has everything they need at any time and there's no lack of anything ever.

  5. Anyone got Razer Kraken 7.1 ?

    How are they?
    Are they worth?
Can I get some better options at the same/lower price ?

  6. They're crap.
    No.
    Yes.

Kingston Hyperx Cloud I, the best headset until 100€, without a doubt... (If it's a bit more expensive in your country, just know that it's well worth the price... And if you can give the extra you won't regret it....)

Lower prices, check Ozone Rage ones, my brother is using one, already for a year or 2 and they're pretty good... (But the sound, obviously, is inferior to any headset that uses a jack port instead of an USB one).

Most headsets are a scam in terms of sound quality. Higher price =/= Better.
Open headsets have better sound, but they don't prevent you from hearing people as much as closed ones.
I don't know the reason you want to buy one, but if you want good sound Razer is not the way to go, if you want to look cool for your friends then sure.
You need to do some research before buying, if you want to get the best for your money, a sort of benchmark hunting like you would do for PC components.

I have the cheaper USB one, without the retractable mic. I like them. Never gave me any issue, good outside noise isolation, moderately comfortable, good sound and mic, and the virtual 7.1 is fine. It's not cheap, but I don't regret getting one.

  9. I've been using a cheap UK brand headset, 7.1, USB.

The sound quality is amazing, (I literally have to play music on 2% as to not deafen myself).
And according to my old guild, friends etc, I have the clearest mic anyone's ever heard.

    Not bad for a £20 (€25) headset.

This isnt my one, this is the newer generation one.

  10. Kingston Hyperx Cloud I
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my price range. If I had that money I'd get Mad Catz.

Can't find them up for sale anyone. And I prefer Jack to USB anyday

I need a new headset because my old one broke. The store I get most of my things from has Razer listed as the most sold one... I've done some research on them and haven't really seen many people complain about them. But sure, I will search before buying, that's why I asked here in the first place :D

Not up for sale anywhere in my country, and the delivery fee isn't worth it.

  11. I use a 7 bucks headset with mic and all. In 4+ years I've never had problems with it, I have the clearest mic out of my friend, never outside noise. I don't even know how I got such a god headset. Meanwhile a buddy of mine changes headsets every few months because they are all crap. Always going higher and higher in prices.

  12. Playing Skyrim again after long time feels veeeryy good ^_^

  13. I use a sennheiser hd598 and a vmoda boom pro for a mic

http://smile.amazon.com/Superlux-681...-no-redirect=1 can you find these radvo? Then throw a mic in like this http://smile.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mi...NQKYH8WN1NZVZ8 and you'll be ready to go

  14. Hopefully my new tapers come tomorrow in the mail.

Restretching my ear. And then finally in a few weeks go get my tattoo.

Feels nice to be working again and having most of it as disposable income.
sounds like you are busy! What tattoo are you getting and where? Also, loving the dark hair :)

Nope, can't find 'em. And I'm not a fan of using a separate mic, I'd rather have it built-in, but that's not THAT big of an issue.

    What about these:

These are on sale currently (50% off) and it sounds like a hell of a deal to me.
