1. To think that I used to have curly blonde hair when I was a wee kid. I don't think I could ever have actual long hair again. Short suits me just fine.

  2. I love getting attacked randomly by a select group of pvp-heroes on here. It makes my day. Especially when they make it really clear that they've been talking smack about me in their own chat channels.

  3. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about jobs at my work places. Internet job (this forum) and then a smoke shop which the manager is a family friend.
Unless you work dead end jobs in which you're easily replaceable and hold no actual power or control within the institute and its clients, no other job worries about your physical appearance. Professionals are valuable and nobody is going to kick you out of an important position for having a tattoo or a stupid haircut.

  4. I'm really not worried about it. Even if I were applying for a job, or had a more flimsy job. If they'd fire me or avoid hiring me for something like that, meh, not worth my time.

See I would, what I've applied for is something I've ad a huge interest in for years, if I was to lose out cos of my hair then I would be destroyed.

I'm a suspect for saying what I'm about to say since I'm filled with tattoos and because of the job that I have but I can tell you that the "taboo" around tattoos, piercings, hair, etc. is going way softer than what it used to be.

Yh i have very visual tattoos, one on the back of my hand being uncoverable. I've never been turned down for an entry level job over it. Not any of my piercings either.
But something a bit more specialised I think it might go against me :/

Talking about my hand tattoo.... (cos Dishonored)
    anyway: 45 mins!!! HURRY UP

It's seemed that way to me too. People are a lot more conservative than what they used to be, and seem to be more accepting of what people are. Within reason, that is.

Both of my arms have tattoos, so do my legs. Never got an issue with those, however, I'm also the boss of myself and considering the job that I have people kinda look at it as a "must have" for some reason.

Depends on what we're talking about. Even this last summer I got called a skinhead by one men on his 50's because I had my tattoos exposed and my hair shaved. But yes, in general, people have opened up their minds a little bit regarding specific topics that used to be taboos and it was about time. I was tired of seeing people with so many capabilities being rejected in interviews just because they had a tattoo here and there.

I'd consider it worth if the person's skill set are valuable, regardless of whatever tats, piercings, etc. are.

I'm aware of specific companies that are still rejecting any sort of tattoos and piercings though. Flying companies (Ryanair and Easyjet pop in my head), some medical companies - These are good examples of the rejection that still happens. Two good friends of mine got their job offer gone because of having tattoos on their arms.

  14. Taking forever to unpack :(
No sympathy from me as I wait another five hours.

  15. Taking forever to unpack :(
That makes me feel slightly appeased.
