Full Name: Amariste Frostfury
Age: 52
Race: Blood Elf (Sin'dorei)
Gender: Female
Class: Mage
Residence: Silvermoon City

Known Relatives: Zanya Frostfury (Sister), Ristya Frostfury (Mother, deceased), Zan'ethos Frostfury (Father, MIA, presumed deceased)
Occupation: Magister of Silvermoon City, secretary of foreign politics (one of many).
Group/Guild affiliation: --- (None yet.)
Notable Friends: --- (None yet.)
Enemies/Rivals: Magisters always have many political enemies. The list is too large to display.
Likes: Provocative self-display, arcane study and getting in her way.
Dislikes: Not getting what she wants, other races within the Horde (filthy creatures), being bothered while studying and males who come onto her too much due to her provocative dressing habits.
Motivation: To hold up her family name and to make it known very well to all residents of Silvermoon City.
Opposite Faction Attitude: Alliance: Completely impartial with the exception of Night Elves and Worgen. Night Elves intrigue her and she thinks of Worgen as flea-carrying beasts.
Horde: All other races are filthy, nasty creatures which she only bothers allying with and being courteous to out of necessity. Outside of their appearance, she doesn't bother formulating an opinion until she deems it worth her time.

Appearance:
Fair complexion and lightly tanned skin tone, unlike most other Sin'dorei who tend to be more pale. Strong and fit compared to the average female. Amariste is adorned with armor that was once commonly worn by her house: Blue and gold ornate clothing with receptacles laced into the clothing which act as pylons that amplify the wearer's powers over the arcane. In the case of the Frostfury house, these receptacles are covered with a thin layer of ice, and a slight mist can be seen rising off of them in temperate or tropical weather, as the heat conflicts with the frost magic flowing through the pylons.

Personality:
Many would expect a Mage wielding ice magics to relate to their art by being cold and uncaring to outsiders. Amariste is unnaturally warm, and as a result, not only does she have darker skin, but she is more inviting than many of her peers. Do not be fooled, Amariste is a master of manipulation, and will not hesitate to use the tools at her disposal to do so, should she deem it worth her while. Being the 'warm' Elf that she is, Amariste does know how to find male company fairly easily, though she is more attracted to qualities held by the more familiar gender.

Most Blood Elves, especially Magisters similar to Amariste, tend to be proud and self-centered. Amariste herself is often stereotyped with these other Elves, and though she is often an exception, she is known to use this stereotype to her advantage in misleading others who seek to keep track of her goals.

Amariste is also a very down-to-earth sort of Blood Elf, and likes to keep her feet there as well. You won't catch her scheming for things she thinks that may be beyond her reach, just the same as she refuses to use air travel of any sort.

Background:
What does it mean to be a member of the Frostfury house? Hundreds of years ago, the name "Frostfury" was revered among the high houses of Silvermoon as the greatest masters of ice magic across all of Azeroth. In more recent years, the Frostfury house and name has fallen into ruin, and only two youthful elves remain to keep its name. It is a shame that they both have to be female. It is unlikely the family name will be carried past this generation, unless one of them finds a husband willing to yield his own name, which will never happen in Elven society.

Amariste did not learn much from her parents and tutors before the fall of Silvermoon City, and the deaths of everyone she considered a teacher at the time. Since then, she has had to learn through trial and error, and from other Magisters within Silvermoon City. None of these Magisters could hope to replace one of the great Frostfury when it comes to ice magic. Only a pure-blood Frostfury can summon forth a Blizzard so strong that an entire army could be lost in it.

The frost is in their blood. Their blood runs cold. Amariste, unlike any Frostfury before her, is warm of blood, skin and emotion. Every Magister who knows anything about the Frostfury house knows that these are not attributes of a proper member. Every Magister who figures out the difference will say that Amariste is the omen that was to fore-tell the fall of the Frostfury house. There are others out in this world who may not know much about the Magisters of Silvermoon, but they do know that it is darkest before the dawn. It is said that a warm-blooded of the greatest family of the frost will be a very important key. A key to the unification of one of strongest and most poweful forces this world has ever seen.

Who are these people and how do they know such things? What could their vision mean? What is this powerful force? Magic? The Sin'dorei themselves? The LEGION? Only time will tell, and for now, time is remaining silent.
